Magdalena is a devoted and enthusiastic voice teacher/coach who has an inspiring passion for music.  She has helped my daughter  improve musical technique and knowledge and encouraged her to pursue her love of music in any setting she is interested (song for church, school musical tryouts, community events, school talent show, etc).

Mrs. Kirsch is a talented voice instructor who truly desires to instill in her students a love for singing.  Her attitude in the studio communicates not only her passion for our vocal well-being, but also for our personal wellness as a whole.  Mrs. Kirsch does an excellent job of assessing her students’ musical growth and helping them improve their vocal quality, while also encouraging and praising them as they improve. During my time in Motif Music Studio, I grew in vocal quality, confidence, ability to perform, and in knowledge of music theory, history, and rhythm.  I am grateful to have spent time with this amazing singer and energetic teacher!

I have two daughters ages 9 and 6 that take piano lessons with Magdalena. She has taught my 9 year old since she was 6 years old. Both girls absolutely ADORE Magdalena. She does a fantastic job of allowing AND embracing their crazy selves, while also teaching them wonderfully. Singing has been a creative passion of mine since I was a young girl. As a former dancer, many of my routines from age 9 to 14 incorporated singing, but I only remember taking a handful of voice lessons during those years. As an adult I find it much harder to get involved in hobbies, so I tend to resort to the ones I enjoyed as a child. When I found Magdalena’s voice studio, I was so pleased to learn that she accepted adult students. I took lessons from her for 7 months. We spent a good portion of my lessons discussing music theory as I had never learned to read music, and the rest of the time we focused on singing 1-2 songs. What I enjoyed most about my time with Magdalena was her willingness to meet me where I was, teach me something new every single week, and help me add healthy and safe vocal practices to my daily routine. I truly appreciate the wisdom I’ve gained from learning about my specific vocal range and how to properly care for my voice as I age. I love that I started this before having children because now I will be able to make voice lessons and music theory part of their future school curriculum.
